The hosted MCP server for 30-country economic data now appears on every major MCP directory — official registry, Smithery, Glama, and mcprush. Here is what that means and how to use it.
The XRPLME Country Intelligence MCP server gives AI agents real-time economic and policy data for 30 countries through a standard Model Context Protocol endpoint. It exposes 8 tools over a streamable-http transport at https://api.xrplme.online/mcp.
xrplme_list_countries — List all 30 supported countries with codes and namesxrplme_get_country_data_summary — Get a country’s data summary without payingget_country_data_health — Check the health of a country data routeget_country_data_pricing — Get current pricing for all toolsxrplme_get_country_data — Full economic and policy dataset for a country, with optional AI analysisget_country_schema — JSON schema for a country’s data structure| Tier | XRPL (XRP) | Solana (USDC) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard data | 0.1 XRP | 0.05 USDC |
| AI-enhanced data | 0.5 XRP | 0.25 USDC |
Payments settle on-chain via x402. No API keys, no accounts, no subscriptions. The free tools are genuinely free — an agent can list countries and check health without any payment setup.
| Directory | Entry | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Official MCP Registry | io.github.DaimyoVegan/xrplme-paid | Active |
| Smithery | daimyotaow/xrpl-country-data | Published |
| Glama | XRPLME Country Intelligence MCP Connector | Indexed |
| mcprush | Claimed (CLM-0178) | Under review |
Each directory serves a different audience. The official MCP Registry surfaces the server to VS Code, Claude Code, Cursor, and other MCP-aware clients. Smithery adds a one-click install flow and usage analytics. Glama indexes it for their directory search. mcprush tracks installs for MCP publishers.
Add the server to any MCP client configuration:
{
"mcpServers": {
"xrplme-country-data": {
"url": "https://api.xrplme.online/mcp"
}
}
}
Or use the registry name directly:
npx @modelcontextprotocol/registry add io.github.DaimyoVegan/xrplme-paid
Smithery also offers a GUI install flow. Search for xrpl-country-data in their toolbox.
The server runs on FastAPI with a dual-rail x402 payment middleware. XRPL payments use the t54 facilitator with invoiceId binding; Solana payments use a self-hosted facilitator with on-chain settlement. Both rails return proper 402 responses with QR codes for wallet scanning.
Discovery is handled by two well-known files served on both api.xrplme.online and xrplme.online:
/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json — describes tools, pricing, and transport for MCP clients/.well-known/x402-services — enables auto-discovery by x402 ecosystem toolingThe server is versioned at 1.0.1 with 482 characters of discovery instructions set at the protocol level.
The public source repository is documentation-only — the server implementation itself is not open-source. The mcprush listing is still under review. PulseMCP has suspended new submissions. And the 402index.io listing for the XRPL routes is pending manual review because their validator does not yet recognize the xrpl:0 network format.
curl -X POST https://api.xrplme.online/mcp \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call","params":{"name":"xrplme_get_country_data","arguments":{"slug":"thailand"}}}'
Expect a 402 with both XRPL and Solana payment options. Pay with either rail, retry with the payment signature, and receive the data. Coverage spans 30 countries. Data is informational only and is not legal advice.
